On 08-04-2014, Investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit arrested Quinton Baldwin, 37 years of age, of 82 Trails End South in Washington. Baldwin was charged with Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Heroin, Manufacture Heroin and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Baldwin’s arrest stemmed from investigators receiving information that Baldwin was involved in the distribution of heroin. Investigators conducted surveillance Baldwin and witnessed Baldwin leave from his residence and conduct a drug transaction on Martin Luther King Boulevard in Washington.
Investigators approached and detained Baldwin after the transaction. Investigators transported Baldwin back to Baldwin’s residence and conducted a search. Investigators found 56 bags of heroin, a straw used for packaging heroin, a razorblade used for cutting and packaging heroin and a strainer used to strain larger amounts of heroin before packaging smaller amounts of heroin into smaller bags.
Baldwin was detained in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $300,000.00 secured bond. Baldwin is currently on probation for Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Heroin.
