On January 24, 2015, Deputies with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Beaufort County Detention Center after a Detention Officer reported contraband was found on an inmate who had turned himself in to serve a probation violation sentence. Marijuana and tobacco was seized by Deputies.
As a result, Mr. Quinton Bernard Corbett, age 31 of Gaskins Road in Grimesland, NC was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Local Confinement Facility and Misdemeanor Possession of Tobacco by an Inmate. Mr. Quinton was held in the Beaufort County Detention Center on $15,000 secured bond set by Magistrate Donald Sadler.
