On March 4th, 2015 at approximately 10:00 PM, the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a Breaking, Entering, and Larceny from a residence on Sandpoint Drive in Washington. Deputies responded to the scene and learned a suspect gained entry into the residence, damaging the property and removed a laptop computer, flat screen television, and U.S. Currency.
During the investigation it was discovered the victim’s laptop computer was taken to Office Depot in Washington in an attempt to have the memory erased. Investigators conducted interviews and gathered evidence. As a result of information and evidence gathered during the investigation, Investigator Jonathan Fowler applied for and obtained warrants charging Shaquel O’Brian Collins, age 22, of 21 Camel Drive, Washington with one (1) count of Felony Breaking and Entering, one (1) count of Felony Larceny after Breaking and Entering, and (1) count of Injury to Real Property. Additionally, Keena Michelle Pugh, age 25, of 285 Collins Lane, Engelhard with one (1) count of Felony Possession of Stolen Property, and one (1) count of Felony Attempting to Obtain Property by False Pretenses.
As a result of information received by Beaufort County Crime Stoppers, Shaquel O’Brian Collins and Keena Michelle Pugh were arrested on September 9th, 2015 by the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division. Collins was held in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $20,000 secure bond and Pugh was also held in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $1,500 secure bond set by Magistrate Eric Holmes.
