This week Beaufort County Crime Stoppers is asking for your help in catching a thief. On February 22nd, deputies responded to Edwards Machine Shop and Welding in Chocowinity in reference to a larceny. Deputies were told someone stole the wheels and tires off his customer’s vehicle, a 1962 International pick-up truck. The wheels and tires were aluminum 17×9 Mickey Thompson Classic II rims mounted on 37 inch Mickey Thompson Baja Claw tires. The surveillance footage shows on February 22nd, the suspect approaching the truck with a flashlight around 1:20 am, removing the wheels.
