This week Beaufort County Crime Stoppers is asking for help in catching a person or persons who are doing acts of vandalism. Over the past few weeks, deputies have responded to the areas of Mildred’s Rd. and Gilead Shores Rd. in Blount’s Creek due to property damage. Some of the property being damaged are slashing tires on vehicles, damage to a camper, breaking out windows, attempting to sink a small john boat in a pond and writing obscene words on the roadway. Investigators believe juveniles are to blame for committing these acts. The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office has also stepped up patrols in these areas and ask you report any suspicious activity.
