On 9-21-2016, Investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit arrested, Stacy Jones, 35 years of age, of 444 Minor Run Road in Edward. Jones was charged with Possession of Heroin, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Driving while License Revoked and two (2) counts of Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Heroin.
Jones arrest stemmed from Investigators making purchases of heroin from Jones and witnessing Jones driving a vehicle on Hwy. 33 in Chocowinity without a valid driver’s license. Investigators pursued after Jones to conduct a vehicle stop. Jones threw a plastic bag containing heroin out the window before stopping for Investigators.
Jones was confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $25,000.00 secured bond. Jones is currently on probation and out on bond for pending drug charges.
