On 10-4-2016, Investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit and Detectives with Pitt County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit arrested Shawn Hogan, 44 years of age, of 5770 Dean Drive in Washington. Hogan was charged with Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine and Trafficking in Cocaine.
Hogan’s arrested stemmed from Investigators with Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit and Detectives from Pitt County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit working together on complaints about Hogan being involved in the distribution of cocaine.
Investigators and Detectives working together conducted surveillance and made purchases of cocaine from Hogan. Investigators and Detectives learned that Hogan was selling cocaine from Arthur’s Community Mart in Belhaven and different locations in Pitt County.
Hogan was confined in the Pitt County Detention Center under a $500,000.00 secured bond. Hogan is currently on probation for drug offenses that occurred in Beaufort County.
