On 11-22-2016, Investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit arrested, Christopher George Mason, 33 years of age, of 119 S. Harvey Street in Washington. Mason was charged with Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Oxycodone a Schedule II Controlled Substance, Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Hydrocodone a Schedule III Controlled Substance, Possession of Heroin and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Mason’s arrest stemmed from Investigators receiving complaints that Mason is involved in the distribution of prescription pain medications. Investigators conducted a traffic stop on Mason and found Oxycodone pills. Investigators conducted a search at Mason’s residence and found heroin bindles containing heroin residue, snorting straws and hydrocodone pills.
Mason was confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $16,000.00 secured bond.
