On 12-3-2016, Investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit arrested, Anthony Freeman, 39 years of age, of 646 Pantego Street in Belhaven. Freeman was charged with Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Freeman’s arrest stemmed from Investigators making purchases of cocaine from Freeman in the Belhaven area. Investigators arrested Freeman for selling cocaine and conducted a search of his residence and a separate residence located at 541 Riverview Street in Belhaven.
Investigators found marijuana, cocaine, digital scales and packaging material used to package a controlled substance.
Freeman was confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $7,500.00 secured bond.
