On 12-21-2016, Investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit arrested Robert Lee Sutton, 44 years of age, of 430 Whitley Road in Aurora and Misty Jones, 34 years of age, of 430 Whitley Road in Aurora. Sutton was charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Jones was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine Precursor and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Their arrest stemmed from Investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit and Investigators with Pamlico County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit working together after receiving complaints that Sutton was manufacturing Methamphetamine in Beaufort County and selling Methamphetamine in Beaufort County and Pamlico County.
Investigators executed a Search Warrant at 430 Whitley Road in Aurora and found Methamphetamine packaged for resale and ingredients used to manufacture Methamphetamine.
Jones was confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $2,500.00 secured bond. Sutton was confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a no bond.
