On 6-12-2018, The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit arrested Vance Davenport, 56 years of age, of 70 Dixon Lane in Washington and Corina Cox Squires, 54 years of age, of 2761 Creek Road in Bath. Davenport was charged with three (3) counts of Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Heroin, Possession of Heroin and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Squires was charged with Possession of Heroin and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Their arrest stemmed from Investigators making purchases of heroin from Davenport. Investigators conducted a traffic stop on Davenport and Squires. Investigators conducted a search and found heroin hidden on Squires.
Davenport was confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $80,000.00 secured bond. Squires was confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $20,000.00 secured bond.
