On 8-20-2018, The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit arrested , 28 years of age, of 24 Trails End North in Washington. Keyes was charged with two (2) counts of Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine, Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine within 1000 feet of a School, Possession of Marijuana, Driving while License Revoked, Flee to Elude Arrest, Failure to Stop for a Red Light and Resisting a Public Officer.
Keyes’ arrest stemmed from Investigators making purchases of crack cocaine from Keyes. Investigators witnessed Keyes driving a vehicle with no license and attempted to conduct a traffic stop. Keyes fled from Investigators on Hwy. 264 and ran the red light at the intersection of Brick Kiln Road and Hwy. 264 in Washington. Investigators apprehended Keyes a short distance later. Investigators conducted a search of the vehicle Keyes was driving. Investigators found crack cocaine and marijuana.
Keyes was detained in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $205,000.00 secured bond. Keyes was currently under a $6,000.00 secured bond for Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine.
