Drug Arrest: Aurora

On 3-11-2019, Investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit arrested Dremal Keys, 31 years of age, of 375 W. 5^th Street in Aurora.  Keys was charged with Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Driving while License Revoked.

Keys’ arrest stemmed from Investigators receiving complaints about drug activity occurring on South 7^th Street in Aurora.  Investigators conducted surveillance and witnessed Keys visiting the area on South 7^th Street in a vehicle with fictitious tags.  Investigators knew Keys’ license were revoked and conducted a traffic stop on Keys.  During the traffic stop Investigators found cocaine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Keys was confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $5,000.00 secured bond.
