On 5-08-2019, Investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit arrested Clyde Chester Wiggins 54 years of age of 152 Vermont Avenue in Washington. Wiggins was charged with two (2) counts of Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine, Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana, Trafficking in Opiates, Maintaining a Dwelling for the Purpose of Storing and Selling and Controlled Substance and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
Wiggins’ arrest stemmed from Investigators executing a Search Warrant on Wiggins’ residence after making purchases of prescription pain pills and cocaine from Wiggins. Investigators searched the residence and found crack cocaine, powder cocaine, digital scales, prescription pills, marijuana, a 32 caliber Revolver and $2,568.00 in US Currency.
Wiggins was confined in the Beaufort County Detention under a $100,000.00 secured bond.
