Investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit have arrested five individuals in connection with the Methamphetamine Lab that was discovered at 415 Carrow Road in Chocowinity on 12/23/2019.
On 01/14/2020, Investigators arrested Michael Baker, 36 years of age, of 53 Edgewood Drive in Chocowinity, Edward John Mullen, 27 years of age, of 485 Bear Creek Road in Chocowinity, Joshua Marslender, 29 years of age, of 105 Worthington Lane in Chocowinity and Wendy Miller Simpkins, 37 years of age, of 104 Anne Drive in Washington. On 01/22/2020, Investigators arrested Brittany Kirkedahl, 29 years of age, of 3635 Hwy. 17 south in Chocowinity. They were charged with Conspiracy to Manufacture Methamphetamine with Donnie Mayo by purchasing and distributing Pseudoephedrine to Donnie Mayo for the purpose of manufacturing Methamphetamine.
Baker, Mullen and Marslender were confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $125,000.00 secured bond. Simpkins was confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $50,000.00 secured bond. Kirkedahl was confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $10,000.00 secured bond.
