The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office and Aurora Community Watch are seeking the public’s help to catch the person(s) responsible for the theft of Christmas lights from the Town of Aurora.
On November 7th an official with the Town of Aurora reported a Breaking & Entering and Larceny of a building located in a fenced maintenance yard owned by the Town of Aurora. Approximately 10 strands of one-quarter inch diameter by one hundred ten feet in length braided cable were stolen. The strands had multi-colored lights attached and were used as part of the town's Christmas display.
