On December 16th the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Response Team along with officers from the Washington Police Department joined forces to arrest a subject wanted in Beaufort and Pitt County for ten outstanding warrants that included multiple felony charges.

27-year-old Kyreem Armon Gray of Washington (Pitt County) was taken into custody from a vehicle parked outside a residence on Bridge Street in Washington. Kyreem Gray was on the run after his involvement in multiple traffic related incidents in Pitt County and Beaufort County. While taking Kyreem into custody, a firearm and other evidence were located.

As a result, Kyreem was charged with the following additional offenses:

-Felony Possession of Firearm by a Felon

-Misdemeanor Possess Drug Paraphernalia

Kyreem was also served with the outstanding warrants for the following offenses.

-Two felony counts of Possession of a Firearm by a Felony

-One Felony Second Degree Kidnapping

-Felony Assault With a Deadly Weapon Intent To Kill

-Felony Flee/ Elude Arrest with Motor Vehicle

-Misdemeanor Going Armed to Terror Of People

-Two misdemeanor counts of Assault by Pointing a Gun

-Two misdemeanor counts of Resisting Public Officer

-Two misdemeanor Counts Carrying Concealed Gun

-One misdemeanor count of Possess Drug Paraphernalia and numerous traffic offenses

Kyreem was confined in Beaufort County Detention Center on a $521,000 secured bond.
