On 5-07-2015, Investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit arrested Malcom Eugene Smith, 148 Holloman Street in Washington and Marquis Jamal Arrington, 23 years of age, of 2010 West Barr Road in Chocowinity. They were charged with Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Their arrest stemmed from K-9 Elza alerting on a vehicle during a traffic stop. Investigators conducted a search and found approximately 130 grams of marijuana in a plastic vacuum sealed bag.
They both were confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $10,000.00 secured bond.
