On June 13, 2015, the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a Robbery that occurred in Mimosa Mobile Home Park in Washington. The victim reported the suspect took five envelopes containing $1,260.00 in US Currency from him and took off running. The victim was not injured during the incident. The Sheriff’s Office began an investigation and conducted interviews.
As a result, Investigator Jeremy Landeck applied for and obtained warrants charging Mr. Lamar Antonio Hawkins, age 23, of Washington, NC with one count of Common Law Robbery.
On July 2, 2015, Mr. Hawkins turned himself into the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office. Hawkins was held in the Beaufort County Detention Center on $1,200.00 secured bond set by Magistrate E. Holmes.
