Traffic stop on Hwy 32 leads to drug bust

On September 3, 2014, Investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit arrested David Forrest Walker, age 25, of 16581 Hwy 32 N in Pinetown and Bobby Randall Manning Jr., age 41, of 5225 Hwy 17 S in Vanceboro. Their arrests stemmed Investigators receiving complaints siting Walker’s involvement in the use and distribution of controlled substances in Beaufort County. Investigators conducted a traffic stop on Walker’s vehicle on Hwy 32 near Terrapin Track Road. K-9 Elza alerted on the vehicle and Investigators conducted a search locating two crack-cocaine smoking pipes and a user amount of cocaine in the vehicle.

David Walker and Bobby Manning Jr. were arrested and charged with Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Walker and Manning Jr. were confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under $2,500 secured bonds.
