Traffic stop leads to drug arrest

On 06-15-2017, Investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit arrested Michael Booth, 34 years of age, of 1272 West Ridge Court, Apt. B in Greenville.  Booth was charged with Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Booth’s arrest stemmed from Investigators receiving complaints that Booth is involved in the distribution of marijuana.  Investigators conducted a traffic stop on Booth and searched the vehicle that Booth was driving.  Investigators found marijuana, digital scales and packaging material.

Booth was detained in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a 5,000.00 secured bond.
