On 12-11-2018, Investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit arrested Lori Murphy, 49 years of age, of 717 Dan Taylor Road in Washington. Murphy was charged with three (3) counts of Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Methamphetamine, Maintaining a Dwelling for the Purpose of Selling and Storing a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Murphy’s arrest stemmed from Investigators making purchases of Methamphetamine from Murphy and executing a Search Warrant on Murphy’s Camper located at 717 Dan Taylor Road in Washington.
Canine Bodi and Investigators conducted a search of the Camper and found 10.5 grams of Methamphetamine, plastic bags used to repackage Methamphetamine and 2 digital scales.
Murphy was confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $70,000.00 secured bond.
