On 7/16/2020, Investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit arrested Davon Hemphill, 37 years of age, of 3001 The Alley in Baltimore Maryland and Latrice McFadden, 33 years of age, of 213 N. Bethel Court in Baltimore Maryland. They were charged with Trafficking Molly a Schedule I Controlled Substance, Trafficking in Ecstasy Pills a Schedule I Controlled Substance, Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Adderall (Amphetamine Salt) a Schedule II Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Their arrest stemmed from Investigators receiving information that Hemphill and McFadden were delivering Molly and Ecstasy from Baltimore Maryland to Beaufort County. Investigators conducted a traffic stop on a Honda Accord that Hemphill and McFadden were operating. K-9 Bodie alerted on the Honda Accord and a search was conducted. Investigators found approximately 500 Ecstasy pills, 150 grams of Molly, 37 Adderall pills, marijuana, a digital scale and plastic bags used to repackage a Controlled Substance.
Hemphill and McFadden were confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $100,000.00 secured bond.
