Two Brothers Arrested After Investigation into Drug Sales in Aurora

On March 6, 2025, Deputies with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit along with Probation and Parole Officers from the North Carolina Department of Adult Correction arrested Robert Earl Blount III and Ryakeem Devon Blount at a residence in Aurora, NC. Robert Earl Blount III was wanted for a Parole violation and also had three active arrest warrants from the Drug Unit for recent controlled purchases of illegal drugs. During a search of the residence, Ryakeem Devon Blount was found to be in possession of 52 grams of marijuana.

35-year-old Robert Earl Blount III was arrested and held in the Beaufort County Detention Center under no bond under the following charges: – (2) counts of Possession With Intent to Sell Deliver Schedule II (Fentanyl) – Possession With Intent to Sell Deliver Schedule II (Heroin) – Probation/Parole Violation

33-year-old Ryakeem Devon Blount was arrested and held in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $4,000 secured bond under the following charges: – Possession With Intent to Sell Deliver Marijuana – Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
