The Ride-Along program provides Beaufort County citizens an opportunity to ride along with a patrol deputy while performing their regular duties.  The program is designed to show citizens the day-to-day challenges a law enforcement officer faces.  The experience also demonstrates the critical role dispatchers and other emergency personnel play in ensuring citizen and officer safety.

You must fill out an application to ride along with a Deputy.  You can obtain an application by visiting the Sheriff’s Office at 210 North Market Street or download the application below.
